If you don't know where to begin, start with your Fridge....

So Steve-O and I went shopping the other day. He is so supportive of this challenge, but when is he not really, lol.

We brought a list and I thought this was good. I found a Eating plan on Good Housekeeping that provided me with some good shopping tips.

Yes, in our cart was more veggies, more lean meats, more fruits, but what we also added to the mix is healhty indulgences. So I have a sweet tooth at the end of the day, but instead of buying the economy size bag of licorice like we normally do (and eating the whole thing in one sitting), we replaced it with Fat free puddding, fat free breyers chocolate fudge frozen bars, and fibere bars. Yes these all have sugar and yes they all are sweets, but let's face the facts, I am not going to stop this sweet tooth thing over ngiht. So instead of "Eatinng this, I am eating that", speaking of which you should read that book. So the moral of this sorry is 60 calories instead of 500 consumed in one "sweet tooth moment" is definitely a positive. Deprivation only leads to self destruction, right? I am all about the healthy balances in life now so I know that if I address that I love sweets, help myself pay attention to better ways of feeding the craving, then I should be on a decent path

I went for a 40 minute walk this morning with Xman. It was beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeautiful outside, people on the paths were friendly, got to see some soccer games in play, it was nice.

I am also writing down everything as well.
