I love checking in to our blog site and reading your posts...today was great, had in incredible run that I was gonna put off til later, and take a nap instead, but I thought to myself, take a nap from what you've only been up for 4 freakin hours-Really?! So the runners were donned and off I went...once I got out on the lakeshore, I didn't wanna go home, so I added some hill training to my run and then was mesmerized by the water, so decided to sit on the bench and enjoy the beauty. Well, after about 2 minutes of sitting, I thought I might as well make a full workout of it and proceeded to do a lower body workout including squats, single leg squats, leg lifts and extensions...it was great way better than being at home on the couch sleeping!!!! The only reason that I did come home was cuz' I was so parched and had no water or money on me. So I'm glad that I said go now, what are you waiting for, cuz' had I waited, I probably would have made up some half ass excuse to not go later, it's all about changing the thinking, and I have to remind myself that I only have 12.5 weeks until my run, so really, there is no time for naps. Great to be able to share this with you, pretty sure this is the best part of the challenge is reading and contributing entries, so fun. Dre, you are gonna get back into those clothes cuz' you have all the right tools and mindset, and I am trying to tell myself the same thing. I still wanna get back into the Parasuco capris that I bought on my 26th birthday with birthday money from my sis and Shawn...they are super cute and were really expensive, so I am determined to get back into them 6 years later- I think I wore them for one summer and then gained weight again, but this will be the last time that I ride the weight roller coaster, I have a lot to prove to not only myself, but to you guys too. Won't it be great when we are all getting healthier, leaner and more fit and those around us are surprised, as they don't know that we are doing this together! Let's shock the shit outta them, and our bodies!!!! There is incredible strength in numbers and it is so good to have you guys to lean on. So any guilty pleasures today are done and gone, focus on improving tomorrow, but I hope everyone had a healthful day. I still really recommend journaling, it really helps to keep you on track, including your activity and nutrition for the day, I've heard it increases your success by a significant percentage. Is anybody weighing and measuring their food? I have a scale and I think I'll start using it with any thing that I am unsure of the portion size, this can also be very helpful and eye opening as well. I sent you all an e-mail about Banff...hope you can come!! Look forward to hearing from you soon....lots of love and positive thoughts,
Jayna Jaded
